Privacy Policy
Rogo is an iOS game made by Bloomrise ("Bloomrise", "we", "us"). You move your body in front of your iPhone's camera and the game plays on your phone or, mirrored with AirPlay, on your TV. This policy explains what information Rogo handles and why.
The short version
- Camera video is processed on your phone, in real time, and is never recorded, stored or uploaded.
- An account is required. It holds your email address (or your Apple ID sign-in) and how many free runs you have used.
- Payments for Rogo Pro are handled by Apple. We never see your card details.
- No ads, no advertising identifiers, no analytics SDKs, no sale of personal information.
- You can delete your account and its data at any time from Settings in the app.
1. Camera and body tracking
Rogo uses the front camera to detect the position of your body (for example whether you jumped, ducked or stepped sideways). This is done entirely on your device using Apple's on-device Vision framework. Frames are analysed in memory and discarded immediately; Rogo does not record video, take photos, save images or send any camera data to us or anyone else.
Some games draw the live camera image of your face onto your in-game character. That drawing happens on your device only. If you mirror your screen to a TV with AirPlay, Apple's AirPlay streams the game picture, including that face image, over your local network to the TV you chose. That stream goes to your TV, not to Bloomrise.
2. Information we collect
- Account. If you create an account with email, we store your email address and a hashed form of your password (we cannot read the password itself). If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive an identifier for your Apple ID and, if you choose to share them, your name and either your email address or Apple's private relay address.
- Play data. The number of free runs you have used on your account, and when the account was created and last updated. Game scores, best distances and in-app settings are stored only on your device.
- Subscription status. When you subscribe to Rogo Pro, Apple processes the payment. We receive your subscription status (which plan, when it started, renews or expires) through RevenueCat so the app can unlock unlimited runs and restore purchases. We never receive your payment card or bank details.
- Technical records. Our service providers keep standard server logs (such as IP address, request time and device/OS version) for security and reliability.
Rogo does not collect precise location, contacts, photos, health data (it does not read from or write to Apple Health), advertising identifiers or any analytics about how you play.
3. How we use information
- To create your account, sign you in and keep you signed in.
- To count your free runs and unlock Rogo Pro after you subscribe, including restoring purchases on a new device.
- To email you a password-reset link when you ask for one. We do not send marketing email.
- To prevent abuse and keep the service secure.
- To answer your support requests.
We do not sell personal information, share it for advertising, or use it for profiling or automated decisions with legal effects.
4. Service providers
We use a small number of providers who process data on our behalf and only as needed to run Rogo:
- Supabase – account database and authentication, hosted in the United States.
- RevenueCat – subscription status and purchase restoration.
- Apple – App Store payments, Sign in with Apple and AirPlay.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users, or as part of a merger or acquisition (in which case this policy continues to apply).
5. Retention and deletion
Account and play data are kept until you delete your account. To delete it, open Settings in the app and tap delete account; your account and profile are removed immediately. Subscription and transaction records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat under their own policies and as required by tax and accounting law. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription: manage subscriptions in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your data yourself in the app, or contact us using the details below and we will respond within the time required by law. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. If you are in the EEA or UK you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. International transfers
Our providers store data in the United States. Where required, transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses or an equivalent lawful mechanism.
8. Children
Rogo is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored hashed, and database rules restrict each account to its own records. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
10. Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new effective date. Material changes will also be announced in the app.
